Charissa Thompson
Thompson was a former FOX Sports host who left FOX Sports to join Yahoo Sports in 2010, she also was the host for Versus Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video on the popular Yahoo platform. She also led its presence at some of the most prestigious sporting events like those of the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. Success in both arenas led to her joining ESPN in August 2011 in which she was selected as one of the hosts for the new show for the afternoon "Numbers Never Lie." Following a switch from "SportsNation," she enjoyed a long-lasting run of success. The network was shut down when FS1 launched at Los Angeles, May 2013 to go back home to Los Angeles. Thompson is a passionate sporting fan but proved her ability to move into entertainment. Thompson was hired to be a host of"Extra," the Hollywood Newsmagazine "Extra" on June 2014 after several part-time jobs. In her role as co-host the magazine, she also filmed on Universal Studios as well as hosted award shows as well as celebrity occasions regularly.
