Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a child of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her mother is English while her father is Nigerian. She was born on the southern part of London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was awarded. She appeared in many stages during her high time at school, including the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe starred as the lead character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy released in 2008. Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe officially made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes on The CW, and was then cancelled. She was cast in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes in the series' second season as the show's regular. However, in May of 2013, it was announced that announcement was made that she would leave the show after her guest appearance in the opening episode for its third season. In the TV series Salem, she played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as a couple in Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in the large family. Her parents were Patty and Roy Leggat. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty and four older brothers -Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. The four brothers of Ashley, all very athletic, played hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summer months, which means they grew up mostly in parks and arenas. Ashley never actually walked -she did dance, so when she was just two years old, she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley competed in tap, jazz and ballet in the high divisions. She won the top soloist awards at all of the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
